They don’t speak Spanish in The Netherlands?

I find it amusing that I keep wanting to speak Spanish even though I am in the Netherlands.  It is like my brain hears a foreign language and goes – Foreign language needed? – Spanish it is!  Because that is the only foreign language that I know so I can’t stop my brain from deferring to Spanish and I find myself sometimes inappropriately saying Gracias to a friendly waitress when she delivers my drink. 🙂
